Teachers’ Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and respect at Kendriya Vidyalaya Kirandul on 5th September 2025 to mark the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the former President of India and a renowned teacher. The programme began with a floral tribute to Dr. Radhakrishnan, followed by a warm welcome to all the teachers. Students organized a cultural programme to express their gratitude and admiration.
Various performances such as songs, dances, skits, and speeches highlighted the invaluable role of teachers in shaping the lives of students. A special skit was presented, showcasing the selfless dedication of teachers in guiding students towards knowledge and values. The highlight of the day was the “Role Reversal Activity,” where senior students took the responsibility of teaching in classrooms, giving them a glimpse of a teacher’s life.
The Principal addressed the gathering, appreciating the efforts of teachers in nurturing the future of the nation and motivating students to respect their mentors. Tokens of appreciation were presented by the students to their teachers. The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks and the National Anthem. The event left everyone inspired, reaffirming the strong bond between teachers and students at KV Kirandul.
